All tutors are current undergraduate or graduate students at Ivy League or Top 20 universities (per US News National Universities ranking). Test prep tutors scored in the 99th percentile on the exams they teach. Tutors are recruited through Handshake and verified through university channels.

All services default to online delivery via video conference. In-person 1-on-1 tutoring is available across all five NYC boroughs at a premium of +$20/hour. In-person locations include public libraries, the family's home, or other agreed-upon public spaces.

Group packages are 50 hours of SAT or SHSAT prep at $2,250 online or $3,250 in-person (+$20/hr). Groups run on fixed schedules with predetermined start dates. Online SAT groups cap at 10 students; online SHSAT groups cap at 15. In-person groups cap at 5 students. A minimum of 3 students is required to run any cohort.

1-on-1 tutoring is pay-per-hour with volume discounts. Packages range from 10 hours ($75/hr) to 50 hours ($60/hr). Hours are purchased upfront and do not expire. In-person sessions add $20/hr. All listed prices are for Zelle/ACH; a 3% surcharge applies for credit/debit card payments via Stripe.

Test Prep: SAT, ACT, SHSAT. Academic Tutoring: all major school subjects. AP Subjects: Calculus AB/BC, Statistics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics C, English Literature, English Language, US History, World History, Computer Science A, Psychology, Environmental Science, Microeconomics.

We offer two tracks: Foundation Track (Grades 9-10) is a yearlong engagement focused on building the resume, experiences, and writing portfolio. Application Track (Grades 11-12) covers the full application cycle. Each track has three tiers: Essential, Comprehensive (flagship), and Concierge. Foundation Track starts at $3,500/year; Application Track starts at $5,500.

For 1-on-1 sessions: 24+ hours notice to reschedule at no charge. Less than 24 hours notice or no-shows result in hours being deducted. Tutors wait 15 minutes for no-shows before marking the session as used. For Group sessions: missed classes are not made up, refunded, or rescheduled; materials are provided to absent students. All clients have a 3-day cooling-off period from signing for a 100% refund.

Yes. Group Test Prep packages (50 hours) and 1-on-1 packages of 40+ hours qualify for our Score Improvement Guarantee. We guarantee a minimum 50-point SAT improvement or 30-point SHSAT improvement based on official scores. If the threshold is not met and all qualifying conditions are satisfied, the family may choose a partial refund or equivalent additional tutoring hours. College consulting outcomes are not covered.

We accept Zelle (preferred, no surcharge), ACH bank transfer (no surcharge), and Stripe credit/debit card (+3% surcharge). All published prices are the Zelle/ACH base price. We do not accept Venmo, CashApp, cash, check, or cryptocurrency. Standard payment is full upfront at time of contract signing.

All clients have a 3-day cooling-off period for a 100% refund. For Group packages: 70% refund before or within 2 weeks of start; no refund after 2 weeks. For 1-on-1: unused hours are refundable at purchase price. For College Consulting: no refunds after the cooling-off period due to the customized strategic work involved.

Yes. Current or past clients who refer a new family earn account credits: $50 for purchases under $1,500, $100 for $1,500-$3,000, $200 for $3,000-$5,000, and $300 for purchases over $5,000. Credits can be applied to future purchases or 1-on-1 hour top-ups. The referred family must mention the referrer's name at booking.
